AMP F3 fork

Thanks again Trail_head for your expertise.
I already loaded these manuals (the german one is much better scanned than the others) a few months ago. I certainly missed something but I can't find the size of the "Shock Clamp Tool" #10-00760-10 ont top right of your 3rd photo.

Just above this tool seem to be Oil Level setting Tools. Why is there 6 different ? I imagine they're different for the XC and LT fork, but why 3 (x2) when manuals indicate only 2 (x2) ?

I can't Imagine post being very much. I few aluminum screws doesn't weight very much. How many screws do you need? I'd recommend replacing only what's absolutely necessary as these are in short supply and quite expensive. Back when these were available from Amp they cost $2.00 each. Now that they are no longer available the price will rise by a significant factor. I'm going to double check the dimensions tonight but, I believe you could actually replace these bolts with an over the counter Ti bolt for less cost.

If I'm honest, not in any rush to sell any of my spares but, I'm always keen to help out my fellow Amp owners. I'm a bit torn about this, I don't want to ever run short of parts for my bike;

Oops, I forgot the clamp tool :oops: It's not in the manual. I'll measure that for you and post up the dimensions. I don't remember what the larger tools are for :oops: I'll measure them and have a think on that tonight.

Ive also some spares or 2md's rather.
1 red spring, a couple of spring collars for the F4 and i might have a bushing. I'll pop up a pic later

For Roy; hope this helps; FYI, The thread on the tools doesn't go all the way. When screwed into a pivot axle they don't bottom out. this way the push forces are on the threads, not the shoulder of the pivot axle.

Wow wow wow.
Need more information please.
I imagine that the short axle is for the fork and the long for the swingharm ? Am I right ?
But I don't know what are the press tools for. I checked on the manuals but ...
Sorry for these questions but I've only owned a B4 since may and had a motorbike accident in august. I only rode my B4 4 times and didn't have time to detail the fork and other parts of it.

Thanks again Trailhead for your expertise.

F3's have 3 different length pivot axles. The rear swingarm has a different length again but, it is the same diameter. Sadly, it requires a different tool to press out. For the fork you can get away with having only the long press tool if you have a big enough vise or clamp.

Looking at all that polished Aluminium you must have too much time on your hands , OK tell me after all this work on these forks are they any good ? my bike of choice is a Cannondale F800 with a USE SUB fork and next is an old Pro-flex X-WORKS with Girvin fork so how good are the AMP F3 forks ? .
