AMP F3 fork

Did not start this thread to make money , these screws are the same as the original screws apart from the thread ;) NO the thread is 1/4"unf the head of the screw is 1/2"Dia. the only difference is i have used a 4mm hex broach , so you use 4mm allan key ! how much would you pay for 1 1/2 hours work ? So what have you ? I have Girvin ,AMP ,USE SUB and Cannondale lefty ,any parts up for swops ? also looking to finish a GT Zaskar with the AMP F3 , also making parts for the AMP F2 . or as i say to other people whats to worth to you ? :?:

This is the reason for all the fuss over AMP forks , so now its finished its time to take it out and see how it compares to the other bikes i have .

Just found this thread - I can confirm Brion no longer can supply AMP spares :( I am looking to rebuild two AMP F4 pistons and may be toiling - mainy trying to upgrade from circlips on the preload to the screwable type - makes trying to change springs less of a ball-ache! Also would like to get my hands on the tool for holding the sleeve whilst unscrewing the end cap - seems easy enough to machine...if you have access to that sort of equipment I might add :D

I hate to reincarnate a zombie thread, but I was about to have some washers cut from Delrin on my buddy's lathe and when I measured my extremely worn F1/F2 (circlip fork) washers, I got 5/16 inner, 1/2 outer and 1/32nd thick. For our friends with health care, that's about M8x13x.8. In this thread there are two sizes mentioned for the nylon washers, but I think that was only for the F3/F4 bolted forks. Is that true?
