I have always said S.RAM but on a YouTube step through (OK I need 'em) they said SHRAM as a pronunciation
Is that the American or have I, as an idiot, been getting it wrong all these years?

Anyone with me?

Alison

Re:

I've heard both but I always say SRAM with an 's' rather than 'sh' because it sounds less stupid.

Re:

Schram sounds like how Sean Connery would say it !
Can't you just use Shimano stuff instead ?

And where's this Marin of yours ? ;)

SRAM.

Although it can sometimes sound like "SHRAM" when you say it :)

How you say it is directly proportional to the amount of cider you have consumed.

(And what you have to remember is the yanks can't even spell aluminium, let alone say it, either....)

Re:

Not a dunce are you, I'm in the states and never have heard a "H" over the years. Agreeing with the amount of Schider consumed. :D
