A visit to Carradice

Called in at the Carradice factory in Nelson today with a view to leaving a pair of pre World War 11 panniers for repair plus a long flap that needed a stud replacing . No problem I was advised give us half an hour . All repairs carried out and a tour of the bag production area to top it .

Did you take any pictures of the factory? The bags?

Will post pictures of panniers . Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the works . Everything is hand machined in the area I saw . Leather straps etc cut on hand cranked cutter and hole punchers etc .
Artisan quality built to last.
