your battles with getting the cockpit right chime with my own
a custom stem is something I've been considering too - i agree that in many ways Ahead setups are just way more awkward for tweaking height than the old quill style - big stacks of spacers just always look really awkward IMO

Agree with the spacers, I've got 3 GT frames all with really short head tubes and 2 inches of spacer on threadless just looks wrong.

Well that's made it grubby!

Don't worry its had a quick bath.

If im honest, i think i want to swap tye post out still. Its just a style thing. As soon as i find a 27.0 sakae TCO with yellow lettering, it will get done. There's a few on german Ebay, but its quite expensive ( for £24 new post!) and on not sure how much im going to get stung bringing it into the uk?

Quite telling as he's selling the 27.2 for £15 new .....which is what i paid in the uk for the last one for my 89.
