92 Marin Eldridge Grade Lite

So I put an offer on what looks like a v clean Marin this afternoon,…..It’s now mine or should I say my Sons and I wanted to ask what people think of the Eldridge Grade lite? A mate of mine had a pine mountain (new) of that era and I always loved it. What other brands models was it in competition with ?

Is this the black and pink one with dx? Zolatone? Always thought they looked great imo. Not sure what they were up against, I had a great rts2 around that time, and a lovely giant with full dx but can't remember the model. Cadex were around that time too in the giant range. Orange clockwork, Scott's and more in terms of era and comparable parts. It was a long time ago

It was one of those 'want to have' bikes at the time -- I recall a very positive review in MBUK (I think) which had me totally sold. Far out of reach at the time though.
