Like Avanti at the time, Milazo was a New Zealand based brand that largely catered to the lower end of the bicycle markets. They decided to step up to the plate & produce a high-end MTB for the racing market... They came up with the Rock Comp II (oops...). I actually love the bike and it was well regarded by the MTB community at the time (in spite of it's 29 lb weight..). I recently picked this little treasure up for a song in hardly used condition. All I had to do was to replace the crappy old over-sized Shimano brake cables, the fat-arse seat & the commuter tyres and VOILA! I love it! Unlike most of my fleet, this one's gonna get used!

Rims: Araya RM20, black front, HA rear (has been replaced @ some stage)

Tyres: Panaracer Smoke (1.9) & Dart (2.0) Magics
Bars: Cr-mo
Stem: 1 1/4" quilled cr-mo
Pillar: Cr-mo
How's the funky rear derailleur cable routing??? :shock: It actually works well!
