After a few failed attempts and weeks of deep creep squirts I’ve finally gotten the seat post out. Seriously was on the verge of cutting and drilling. Today was was a good day

SimWorks Homage by Panaracer 26x1.95 in black gum wall. I have them and they are the best tires I've owned. I ride mostly gravel, pavement and some hard packed singletrack with the bike they're mounted on

Without realizing how different this derailleur was I removed this little srcew thinking I would take it apart and clean it. Seems i have released the tension on an internal spring. This just got complicated

Good luck! You're doing a great job with this bike. Absolutely iconic machine and I love your attention to detail. (Rear derailleurs though, whenever I've messed with the tension I've always wished I've had about four hands to get it all back together!)
