40’s Schwinn DX klunker Build?

While waiting for Klunker parts to arrive.......... Rough template done but gauge is too thin(16ga Satin coat) will go with 1/4" aluminum plate then paint'er black

Looks cool.

Some beefier knobblies on there would complete it imho

Agreed about the tires. Just something cool about them Maybe because they’re from the 50s have cool tread pattern. They look small on this bike though.

They'd look nice on a classic mixte with plenty of flashy chrome parts.

Anyone else nosey like me wondering what’s in the “Garbage” drawer/box??? I didn’t realise us RBers had bins/garbage as we never seem to chuck anything out!

There is some progress but slow for sure. Really need to get a set of bars but money is going to other things right now
