Hi. Keep an eye on your areas page - click on forum at the top of page and scroll down to Area Groups UK and then West Midlands.

Short cut here >>> viewforum.php?f=45

I have a big long list of users in my 'friends' list so I can pm everyone when I organise a ride (which isn't very often  ) or when another member organises a ride and they ask me to pm everyone. Maybe other dep-aec's and aec's can do the same for their areas???

And what am I supposed to take from no reply to any PM's back, Paul?

That I'm really genuinely very busy at the moment and it's only taken just under 48 hours to respond?

My advice would be, that before you start trying to win a vote for a meaningless banner, you really need to just attend and organise a few more rides perhaps...

Re:

You've been winning pointless banners for about nine years Mark...

Apologies if my last comment may have come across as a little terse.
It was nearly 3am and I was tired and grumpy.

I have no question that you have organised several rides, but jumping straight in to organise a national series or national calendar on behalf of the forum is another task entirely.
It was easier back when I was actively involved because I was building on existing momentum, enthusiasm and a really great bunch of volunteers.
Renewing that could be a tough task that should not be underestimated, but I'd support anyone who would take it on.

Re:

What does a National AEC do? Is there more than one National AEC ?
I understand that each region/area has their own AEC and deputy AEC who "manage" the rides and events within their area.
I'm unclear on the role of the National AEC though?

Re: Poll: Should LGF be a National AEC for 2017?

Banners/ badges was going to be the last thing on my mind, I was more for getting RB going again but that message seems to have been be lost to others with their banner/ badge obsession.

I'm done.
