To cage, not to cage, where to cage?

  • No, no cage at all - it's MUCH slinkier without!

  • Definitely fit that sucker, but it MUST be on the downtube!

  • Nah, it positively MUST be fitted on the seat-tube, what, are you stoopid?

A wee bit off topic (but not much) - anyone remember those plastic caps attached to a cord to tie onto the bottle cage that came free with MBUK and were touted as the solution to not ingesting the crud that collected on your bottle cap? I'm sure there was a Tomkins tie-in somewhere.

Oh, and for me - downtube every day (although I secretly think the "behind the saddle tri mounts" are quite cool - shhh don't tell anyone!)

Love this. It's all there. Draw the eye in. No accidents in choice - the cage wonderfully provides a flick of colour to match other flicks of similar colours to tie the bike in together and make it a whole, then the choice of bottle colour really adds to forming bright points of interest with the stem and cranks - 3 is the magic number.
