26" Tan/Amber Wall Tires?

Wow that is cheap, but are they any good ?

they look bit like a very cheap version of Billy bonkers.

I had these tyres on my 1999 GT Tequesta when I bought it about 18 months ago, they're okay if you're not going off road, they're heavy and cheap. I took them off the Tequesta and put them on a bike I donated to the bike project I volunteer for.

I just ordered up a pair of these Kenda Comp 3s in 26 X 2.125 skin wall, wire bead. A little pricey but not too bad, NOS, doesn’t look like they are readily available anymore. Intended as a 26” cruiser BMX tire but I figure they suit a vintage MTB nicely, love the short, light coloured skin walls and lack of any logos. Nice widely spaced MX knobbies and round profile.

Here’s how they look on a sweet 26” BMX cruiser

Old school vibes on a modern BMX, looks great and brings back some happy memories !

Of course in the US wide whitewalls would be the "tasteful" vintage bike tire choice.
They do look good when cruising around vintage US car shows with similar tires.
So tan wall tires are actually the latest thing over here.
