2013 Genesis Fortitude Singlespeed

Genesis designed it to be rigid only I think? Maybe thats why the fork offset is different. Really like these

I upgraded the chainring from a Surly Stainless to an Onza Buzz Saw unit.

But you cannot quite tell...

Attended a local CX race yesterday. Fun times.

I just cleaned and regreased the pedals on this bike and now that they are off, I figured that'd be a good opportunity to try out the new cranks I got for it. They were reasonably priced and 180mm long.
The current Ritchey Logics are only 177.5mm.

I haven't used many 180mm cranks so far, only one set, and they were sold quite some time ago.
I will probably not feel any difference in terms of length, but q-factor and stiffness might be noticable. And maybe the weight. I'll get my scales.

I'm a big fan of CNC stems and this came up for sale quite reasonably priced. Looks really good and saves a good bit of weight. But the bolts the stem is specced with do not instill confidence. T20 M4 Torx bolts for the bars and T15 M3 Torx bolts for the steerer!

I’m a big fan of the Fortitude platform - so much so I own two; a SS and an Adventure.

It's been interesting reading the comments on the fork as whilst I have an original Fortitude fork I’ve never used it. On my Adventure I run a Salsa Cromoto and on the SS I started off with a Singular Hummingbird fork that has a 55mm (?) offset and then a Stooge Truss fork!

Nice fleet!
There definitely is a version of the Cromoto with very similar fork offset. Despite the obvious differences in the builds, they should ride/steer quite differently, do they?

The truss fork looks spectacular! Love those. Did you repaint the frame to have it match the Singular fork?

I've got an Adventure frame as well. Came without the fork, but I've also got a spare Cromoto waiting for it.
I am planning on having it converted to accept a Pinion gearbox and currently trying to get all the parts necessary for the conversion; i.e. seatstay coupler for the belt drive, the steel bridge that needs to go where the BB would sit and a jig to help with alignment.
