2011 projects

Also got a couple of rides to build in 2011 one project called the night rider :D and two bikes for friends.
So going to be a good start to the year

Tricky one as I have no storage space for any more bikes and don't think I want to sell any of the ones I have (but I've thought that before and I really have too many). So plans MUST include:

1) Consolidate what I have
2) Clear out what I don't need
3) Ride more, procrastinate less

However once I achieve 1) and 2) then there will be room for more which detracts from 3)

In summary, 2011 will be as organic and unfocused for bike building as 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 ........

My new project is going to be 100% from scratch as I am making a "retro" frame from scratch. I have been at welding school for 3 months now and its finally time.

I will let you know how I get on!

i have no plans for any builds at all.
last time that happened i ended up with a '99 specialized fsr fully built 5 weeks later, so i'll see what comes along

To finish what I have already.
Now does finished mean great to ride, period correct, catalogue correct, highly spec'ed, best looking..........etc?

To sell a few, I have too many bikes that perform the same function. Maybe then, add a drop roadie or a CX bike.

To ride and wear them out and only replace parts that fail or don't work correctly, whatever the spec. My old Mongoose with Acera never missed a beat.

have a new fork fitted to my 97 Klein.
upgrade some of the parts.
source more parts for another build.
not buy more bikes.
