I've just bought a 2001 Kona Cinder Cone frame to build up in 2011. Plan is to do a light-weight cross-country build which I can do a few races on during the year

like to see it when ya done i kinda wish i had'nt sold it but fancied a clockwork for a while now

Mine involve Scott's and are suitably non-retro :-:)

Get an Addict Road Bike..

And find a decent Carbon Scott Scale frame and build it up to 16 Ib with Suspension and Discs. Controversial.

proper insane DH build for me next, Probably a MC Sanny frame or a Honda RNo1 if i can travel back in time and nick one lol

Can't see myself doing many long rides on the Saracen, feels a bit small for me. I'll clean that up and use it for pottering in the park.

With that in mind I'd like to get the Timberline up and running with a new cassette and chain and possibly a few more expensive bits.... Wheels, tyres, maybe a new fork.

Money, naturally, will hold me back... Other hobbies competing for my cash. I want to find room for replacing my Avalanche on Cycle 2 Work too.

Not big plans, but plans no less.

A retro bonanza for me! After a year of putting together 3 modern bikes its time to pick up the retros again.

Cannondale budget weight weenie build.

Get the man cave sorted

then in no particular order

FAT Chance built (period(ish))

FAT SAB built (period(ish))

Ritchey team comp built (period)

Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo bulit as a drop bar and geared number (custom)

and theres a Serotta Colorado tri to build and race! and I really fancy building a frame from scratch too.

For me it will be finish the A2X (should be done very soon :D ). And then shuffle my road bikes (2 out 1 in).

Sell my old 10 X 8 shed to a neighbour and build a new 12 X 10 shed/workshop in its place, the largest I can fit into the corner of my garden - with ELECTRICITY .

My old shed is just too cramped to work in and I'm always having to shuffle bikes and parts around to make room for the bike stand.

Hmmmmm?
Plenty of things spring to mind in no particular order:

  • ~ Get a few boxes of spokes and build up the several pairs of hubs and rims I've accumulated. Need some more rims too including that ever elusive black Ritchey Vantage Expert.

~ Sort out and build up the 93 Lava Dome

~ Paint and build up my replacement Dyna Tech frame

    ~ Rebuild the Karakoram Elite

~ Stop procrastinating over the front end of the Zaskar

    ~ Rescue some Saracens

    ~ Stop rescuing Saracens

    ~ Get some (more) titanium

~ Order decals for about five bikes

    ~ Find more amberwall tires

~ Think about an M950 build

~ Finish off the unfinished modern bikes including the Alfine bike

    ~ Chainrings for the 2006 P7

    ~ Get a CX bike

~ Find some more storage and a workshop

~ Organise lots of rides and generally do lots of riding

plus whatever else comes along, minus what lack of cash/time dictates...

My plans as follows:

Build up Marin Team Ti 91', ride, photo, strip down and sell on....
Sell Litespeed
Finish Manitou FS, ride (gently), photo and sell....
Sell Cindercone & Explosif 88'
Sell MS Racing Frames
Build up Funk Force GS for wife & Merlin Elevator FS for me....

Basically slim down collection and get out and ride more!!
