1998 Seven Sola new build

Starting my new build with this 1998-99 Seven Sola Ti frame.

I'll be posting here to share some pictures and components selection.

Comments and tips are welcome but, of course, I’ll do it my own way.

It will take a few months, take a seat and enjoy it.

Very nice top end Ti. Any thoughts on your build kit, going all silver components or some colour in there?

It will be mainly titanium and silver with a few shades of blue.

The frameset will go with the original Seven titanium seatpost, stem and handlebar, and a 1999 RockShox SID XC.

The Crankset will be this blue CBR type F which I’m still restoring with 110/74 M952-5 NOS chainrings. White Industries 68x113mm new bottom bracket. All shifting components are new from the M952 group, and the brakes are this silver Proshift set.

The CK headset, Moots seat collar, and a few other bits will be blue, as the Flite Ti saddle.

Wheels will be built with new Mavic X517 silver rims and White Industries hubs.

Still a few parts to set. Blank tires? Or tan sidewall? Cables, … Or some changes in flight.
