1998 Breezer Twister

Retro Joe,

Ha! Thanks for the clarification.
Thought you had earlier mentioned my Breezer Uptown town bike and XtraCycle in an earlier post (apparently another thread I saw).
I know SUB as Sport Utility Bike.
But hey, USE's SUB (Stability Under Braking) looks great.
Has anyone tried it on a Twister, Tornado or other SweetSpot bike?

I'm glad Rory is feeling better! My apologies. :p

-Joe

Sorry but I just love the irony in that Breezin's tag is newbie :)

MrZero I love your breezer and it's my size too. the curved top frame is stunning.... if ever it's for sale etc.

firstflight, those codas are a perfect match for the spin wheels, inspirational.

If I can get my hands on a twister I'll try it!

this is mine at the moment:

and how it is now (plus my modern bike!):

Breezer Twister

I just picked up this '97 Breezer Twister with the coveted Interloc fork on it. Unfortunately, the other parts are total garbage. The hubs are Quando (?), the brakes and levers have no name on them and the derailleurs are Deore. I will replace all of that with some quality parts...probably Syncros stem, seatpost, and crank, and XT derailleurs and shifters. The bike is lot smaller than I ride usually but I really like the curved top tube.

That's the only other 16.5" I've seen other than my own. Nice grab! I think you'll really enjoy it.

Twister

Mr. Zero,
I would never have known about the curved-top-tube Twister's unless I saw your Twister on here first. Your bike planted the desire to get one myself. :D

hurry up you two, put these in the for sale section so I can buy one :) , actually better still, just PM me directly.

If you ever make it out toward 'Vegas with it we'll get 'em both out on the trail and compare notes. :)
