Time for a clearout and some changes in the bike stable, so these bits have to go.
1995 Orange P7 frame in nickel plated finish, badged up as a Clockwork just for old times sake. It is constructed from heat-treated double-butted custom Series 8 cromoly tubing.
Size is 21in c-t (19in c-c). Top tube is 58cm, head tube 14cm.
This suits riders of 6ft to 6ft 4in according to Orange - I'm 5ft 11in and it's fine for me.
The frame is sound and presentable but it's certainly not perfect - there's a tiny dint under the down tube (and I do mean tiny - too small to photograph), and also some flecks of corrosion that have appeared on the surface of the nickel plating, mostly on the top tube. These are superficial and have been treated with an ant-rust fluid. The insides of the tubes have also been treated with anti-corrosion wax fluid as a precautionary measure although these seem clear. The bottom bracket area, often a trouble spot on the P7, is also very clean.
What's it worth? Dunno, but I'm looking for £75. Add a tenner if you want it posted (UK).
Pace RC35 MXC forks, circa 1995.
A lovely pair of these iconic forks in fine condition. These are equipped with an alloy steerer instead of the heavier steel item.
Steerer is 1in diameter by 212mm long. Note that the steerer tube is removeable and can be changed for a larger diameter size (either 1 1/8 or 1 1/4) by changing the shim. Included is the little widget for fitting canti brakes.
These RC35s are surely worth £75 in this condition. Add a tenner for postage.
Buy the frame and forks together and I'll throw in the nearly new Acor Aheadset too.
