1995 Diamondback Axis TT Pro

Was thinking of fitting black Cannondale p bone rigid forks to mine. They look good with rigid forks. Just not sure how comfortable they will be on the wrists!
P Bones will look good, I had a yellow set I sold a while ago. Only thing i find is the crown sits a bit behind the steerer and that seems to bother me!

I'm setting it up so I can just swap out the fork when I fancy (each for has the same crown race fitted). Because the bike came to me near enough stock I'm keeping all the original components but want to switch it up a bit. Im thinking rigid in the winter and sus in the summer. Ive really enjoyed the rigid titanium rides I've had, needing to pick a line, conscious of the speed and the bike being so light. I have a ropy full suspension Santa Cruz Super Light (comfortable and quick), a 1992 rigid Diamondback Ascent EX (shop/toddler rides) and a 98 Cannondale F1000 (used to race it so sentimental), so the TT is my lightly used bike.

Your set up so far is what I'd do with a bare frame....its going to be awesome!

Update on the spec of the bike.

Realised I can not find a original spec 1995 bike anywhere and I want to have the bike as it should be. I’ve upgraded another bike and I’m super happy with that, so this is my catalogue bike.

I’ve sourced original and near NOS clubman pedals as original. Not sure if I actually want the black ones rather than the blue but they are a great match. If anyone has a black set they’d like to swap let me know.

I've switched the seatpost for a titanium Titec post as I prefer the look, but will keep the post for when I take it to Malverns.

Mavic 216 and Hugi hubs are back on the bike and I may swap them out when I ride it as I keep reading they are prone to cracking.

Lastly I’ve found some pretty decent Tioga Psychos tyres that I disliked back in the day on my old Gary Fisher Montare (1995), but they were catalogue and look the part so a good decision!

Still after mint (ish) bars to replace mine and also a better condition seatpost. There’s a seatpost in the US but it’s £90 plus delivery so not into that!
