I like the white gripshift with the white saddle and I also like the Manitou forks better than the rigid bontys the cnc fits nicely with the period ti frame 8) 8) for the sake of a few ounces I would stick with the manitou's

thanks guys for all the comments! 8)

so a proper working rear mech has been sorted and installed, as well as the RF Ti BB in place, and of course the Bonty fork with the new steerer, as i really want to keep this a rigid bike! :D

took it for a good test ride yest commuting to work and back, as well as some climbs on some local hill in the area… i must say i'm VERY pleased with this bike comfort, speed and handling as a road warrior!

so i would say this is 99% complete. all that i'm debating is what crankset should i finally go with. it's either leave the RF turbines i already have on it, a set of Syncros forged with matching gold rings, or nice set of XTR M900.

as for weight, i'm fairly sure i've hit the 20lbs mark or a tad less.

Nice job, Frank! Those Bonty forks look great. I'd like to see it with the Syncros cranks and gold rings.

What's the clamp-like device under your stem?
