1993 Manitou FS

Re:

Thanks guys.

Sorry

It's taken me about a year to get all the kit together but definitely worth the wait. Still looking for the Grafton cleats and crank caps, but apart from that it's all there.

Do you like the original smokes mate? ;)

Nice work Gio. Those wheels are still a stand out feature for me

Thanks Adrian. They were a bit of a punt when they came up for sale in eBay US but thankfully they cleaned up well. As previously mentioned I've got to sort out a slight wobble in the rear wheel but I'm hoping it just needs tightening up.

Slowly getting there though... :D

I do like the smokes, that must explain why i have more NOS darts than smokes, you have them

Seriously though, great build

The stations on the forks look mint, cant see any ware to the black coating, were they new or just very little use?

Re:

I think these were the original smokes before the darts came out as they are for the front or rear :)

I think it's definitely had an easy life and it's all pretty mint. There are a few scuffs and blemishes to the dropouts but that's about it.

It will continue to have an easy life seeing how easy they crack :D

Came out well... :D

Rampage made some cracking crank caps for my Grafton cranks, got them on both my Mani FS and the ARC

I bid on some Grafton cleats two weeks ago but missed out by a few quid, :x

Thanks, I'm really pleased with the way its shaping up.

I'll drop Chris a message now and see if he still has some.

Didn't get round doing more to it yesterday as I spent half the day looking for the seat binder :? and then I had to take the kids sledging :)

Re:

Mini update. Found some time to do a little more on the Mani.

Seat binder on and started to cable up but then realised I didn't have any brake cables

I have got the bar ends too but not sure about them yet...

Nearly finished though... :)

Re:

That's a lovely build Gio - are you going to swap it with one of the Zinns to bring to ICONOCLASSIC?
