1992 Marin "the bastard" Muirwoods

So quick update on the "bastard", i have removed all the old flaking decals and replaced them with slightly more modern ones, other upgrades include-

-Shimano LX M565 Cantilever Brakes with Ritchey Pads,
-Shimano XT M737 rear mech (Thank you Double-E F)
-Wellgo bear trap SPD pedals
-Schwalbe Road Cruiser tan tyres
-Shark Fin (Remake)
-Specialized Riva saddle

Have a LX M563 Crankset (again thank-you Double-E F) that will go on once i have changed the size of the chain rings, for a 30 ish year old bike, now with the changes it rides amazingly, handles well and accelerates like a modern day bike

So took the bastard away for a couple of weeks, to south Wales and Cambridge, handled amazingly and never missed a beat ev.ening with all my luggage, only issue bottom bracket is now loose and failing, and I hit a pot hole hard and buckled the rear wheel.
Otherwise worked beautifully

That was worthwhile
