Going to paint them black and then install them. Also repaint the Marin stem

Perhaps I can cut and thread the steerer on the rockshox and keep using them but my ocd is nagging me so much that they’re 1996 forks on a 1992 bike

I had an xt headset earlier on, I’m debating using that but think I may splurge to get full xtr but the xt does feel really nice quality and solid

But I agree with you the stripped black polished silver will look good.

Right for the ride tomorrow I’m trying a new front wheel.. mavic 220 (I’m using because it basically looks identical the the fir m122 and is incredibly light) with white industries suspension hub to better the flex in the flexy mag 21’s
