I have rode it for the wale's OWMTBC. It's really a competition bike, giving quite the same fast feeling and as funny as a Klein Attitude but with really more confort. The fork is amazing, I prefer it than a suspension fork.
But I didn't ride it with the purple parts. It's more lighter (I don't know the weight) than built with classic parts.
On other hand, titanium spokes with titanium fork… It will be the surprise
Brilliant - by the way, top job on the colour scheme. The green/yellow grips and cables work amazingly well - the purple ano doesn't pull your pants down and spank you senseless but instead just highlights the good bits with subtle moderation. Nice!
After snowy pictures, just some summer updates :
• Velocity ti stem (I think it was a 150mm cut at 130mm but it doesn't matter)
• Race light ti bar
• Avocet-Kona seat
• Rear Equilibrium 2.0 kevlar tire
• Front Drive 2.2 kevlar tire
• titanium rear cogs with purple spacers
Fantastic looking Hei Hei mate it looks stunning, but i would say that anyway because the 92/93 Hei Hei is my dream Kona to own one day If it was good enough for Steve Peat it'll certainly be good enough for me
