Some rather special parts came today from our friends over on Fatcogs.
NOS Suntour XC Pro front Mech and a full set off NOS Suntour XC Pro Cantilevers, neither have ever been fitted and are spotless.

The icing on the cake is a copy of the original Receipt from Fat City Cycles, with the XC Pro parts on :D

great find and a stunning colour for a Monster! Do these beautíful frames have any 'weaknesses' to look out for if you find one? (like the seattube of a Yo)

Well sat in my office looking at my frames that need building, I'm drawn to a little update on the Monster.I have sourced a supplier for the spindle for the Fat Chance press in Bottom brackets, a problem for some looking for these.Im happy to say I have found that Cook Bros can supply these or complete Press in BB if required.
I will order one after Christmas and advise the quality if anyone is interested.
So apart from the spindle all I require to finish is a 1" headset, king or Suntour, a 1" cable hanger Dia compe and a nice fresh pair of Amber walls  So all in all fairly straight forward to source ,if not a little time consuming.
So I'm planning on finishing this build in the spring :D

I cannot reiterate enough, just how good the original Pepto pink paintwork is ,I understand when Nate said it was almost too nice to ride and in fact agree with him

Though saying that I am planning on racing it at next Years Mountain Mayhem, i'm sure you would agree it would be rude not too

Anyway, for now please find some more photos and I promise I will buy a decent camera for the final build
