Haha

I have seen three ti megas in 23 years of biking. 1 in MBA Magazine and the two in this thread.
Ok, let's increase that number by 33%. :D

@theproscloset
Love your studio pictures, mine are always crappy with no focus. ;)

Re:

Nice ride "whoa"!

Last night the correct 91 front fork was threaded and is ready to be cut to length and installed. Bummed to see the Ti fork go but it will now be 100% period correct and it will be easier to adjust the build to go back to it's OG build as featured on the cover of MBA if we ever choose to do so.

Re:

Adding these Ti Crank Bolts as the final touch to the Ti-Mega.

Going to polish it tonight and post up some pics tomorrow.

Re: 1991 Alpinestars Ti-Mega Build ***Pictures Page 8 ***

i know the objective was to keep this as period correct as possible, but personally i would have kept the ti forks on it. ;)

stunning none the less though! :cool:

Nice work.

Straddle cable on front brakes is technically wrong. They should be the outer ball for more leverage, but I'm sure we'll give you a mulligan for that one.

I'm not sure I agree.... I've always done them like this.... Am I incorrect?
Me too. It makes it easier for disengage the brakes.
