Nice work.

Straddle cable on front brakes is technically wrong. They should be the outer ball for more leverage, but I'm sure we'll give you a mulligan for that one.

Is Martin right?

It's neater with the second ball in the cantilever. How did shimano do it? Any pics in the archive on here? I love the no compromise attitude for this build but I too would have kept the Ti forks..... They look sooooo damn good.

Yes he's right.
The higher cylinder is a different size isn't it?
Also while we're at it, the rear cable hanger is upside down :)

Re:

If you look at the other side of those little balls one has an F and one has an R stamped on it.

The R is closer in so that the rear brakes when attached using that position don't hit yourlegs when pedaling, while the F is further out so that you can give more leverage to your front brakes, which do all the work.

Looks great that.

I may be wrong, and probably am, but I thought the rear seat clamp/cable stop is supposed to be the other way up?
Hanging with the little hump bit resting in the seat tube slit :?:

Thx Martin.

Niall.

You guys are absolutely right on the rear brake seat binder hanger being upside down... I'll make that adjustment and repost the correct photos.

Roger that, thanks Martin. I wasn't quite understanding you before but we are on the same page now.

To be clear, the only thing that is technically wrong with the current way the brakes are set up is that the rear should be set up using the R position on the straddle hanger.

This photo attached here would be correct. Do you agree?
