Class build all round that.

Thank you ;)

Simplex levers now swapped for something that works better with the mechs.
RX100, polished.  I know, I know. It's so wrong. But even the RMO team didn't use them, opting for Mavic branded ones instead. Sachs New Success maybe?
I think they look ok now they're de-branded and actually index well with the freehub. May upgrade when I find some Sachs ones and have funds.

Looking good Mike! what sort of stepped ferrules do you need? Got a pic of the ones you want? I might have some...

and where did you get the tyres? I could do with some of those myself!

Cheers buddy, ;)

Well, the holes in the calipers are 5mm, as are the holes in the top tube stops. The outer cables ( all black now  ) fit in the recess, however with the end caps on they don't. So I need 5mm external for the frame/brakes, changing to a 5mm internal for the end of the cables to sit in, if that makes sense.

As for the tyres, it was a lucky find on eBay. I'd been looking for a while and found these newly listed BNIB for £40. Be rude not to I thought, although I'd have preffered slicks.

Will have a look and see if I have any. If you decide those tyres don't suit, I'd happily give them a new home

Most brakes of my era and after are designed for the outer cable only without any ferrule.
