1989 was the only year Rocky Mountain used the 'granite accent' finish, which I really like. I kept an eye out and was able to secure this little frame. It is quite rough around the edges and needs some work to tidy it up a bit but I'm just enjoying riding it at the moment, so the refurbishment will have to wait for now.
Some photos from the sales advert;
Very original specification including the first generation Syncros seat-post....Yey!
Oh!
No complaints, the seller said it had been cut short.... I just wasn't expecting quite that short! A bit of trading later and a good friend stepped up to the challenge.... all good.
A few shots from recently... including replacing the tyres to Ritchey Quad 1.9s... period correct and great for general use. Looking forward to putting a fair few miles on this one.
Ritchey Quad advert;
This is the original catalogue page.... the Slope version differed somewhat from the 'standard' top tube version.
