Hopefully the frame/forks turn up tomorrow, so will get some pictures up once it's in hand

Oh, this Friday!? I should have read the previous posts properly!

Re: Bob Jackson 1987?

The eagle has landed. Will get some pics up in a bit, but they are from my phone so not best. But I'm well chuffed, bit worried about building it up as I'm bound to mark it.

It's back in it box for now.

Need to finish my muddy fox build before this comes out again!

Re:

Very smart ,

I bought a BJ road frame a couple of years ago . Found them a lot easier to deal with than some , and frame was only 1 day late too . Wonder if they still make mtb frames ?
I'll have to look them up
Can't wait to see build ;)

Re: Bob Jackson 1987?

Currently, I'm thinking very highly of them.

Dead easy to deal with, emailed me, phoned me. Didn't get the arse when I swithered over respacing the back end.

On time, good quality and, IMHO very reasonable. Their prices are on their website, so not a secret, £110 for the strip, respray, lacquer. In the end I spent £195 with them, which includes the decals, respacing the rear triangle and the postage.

Given those costs, just shows what a massive bargain their new frames are, starting at £500. Dont know if they still do off the peg mtbs, but I bet if you asked they could knock one out.
