It's looking great... all pieced together ! Hope to be at that stage with mine soon sometime this month...have all the pieces (mostly). The BLT's are the perfect addition !

You must be excited for the inaugural ride ;)

Missed this with excitement of seeing that cool stem :)

It's all cabled up now. I won't get it out this week with thanksgiving, but definitely next week.

The hold up to starting this was finding a Syncros 1" First Gen stem. I found one, than two more in the period of about 2 weeks.

First gen Syncros are made of steel. Fast Dave owns one

The rarity of the early steel syncros stems is cool but I get more excited by the original fillet brazed rocky stem that many of these early sloped Blizzards came with ;)

Those early syncros stems are super cool. Maybe I'll find one one day. The brazed RM stems are really nice to.

I'd really like to see the 87-88 variation of the blizzard that's red and white.

I had a steel stem off a 1990 RM Blizzard which I owned briefly:

Not sure if it was a Syncros stem, it looks similar, but I don't think so. Ened up selling it to someone looking to restore their own 1990 Bliz.

I leave the stem debate alone.

These arrived Friday. They'll be on after some polishing. I'm pretty sure I know who made these ;)

I am excited for you - SO CLOSE ! I just dropped mine off at a friend's shop.....the suntour post is stuck something fierce ....left to him for the extraction/surgery - he is "thrilled." ;)

Down to the decals, 4 prettier bolts for the Brodie boosters, and the final look over from Malcolm at Bisegal. It'll be a cold first ride but it should make it out before a real blizzard here :)
