1988-1989 Rocky Mountain Blizzard Slope/Team - DONE P8

Re: 1988-1989 Rocky Mountain Blizzard Slope/Team

Some before shots. I'm dropping it off tomorrow to be made like new again :) Quys turnaround time is usually pretty quick so this should come together before the first leaves fall.

Who are you sending it to and what kind of cost? was thinking of putting my Bliz back to original soon.

I do like that granite finish.
Shame to loose it.
Everyone does black and white.
Just sayin'. ;)

I know. That black and white just ties together so well. I think when I went Syncros I had to loose the granite. I flirted with the notion of red and white as well, but wimped out.

I use Quy in Brampton:

Rims and automotive/industrial stuff are his bread and butter. I brought him frames, stems, cranks, etc and they've all been very good.

He did the fork, stem, and cranks on my 93 Fat Chance, 1993 Brodie BHDT, and 1993 Blizzard.

the green one that brodie commented you back on? great props, sweet ride

Yup! Brodie is good about recognizing their heritage. It's all marketing I know, but good to see. Rocky Mtn could take a page from them.

It's an awesome bike. The finish is great ... Quy did the frame, stem, fork, crank arms, legs, crown, and brodie rooster. Everyone that sees it on the trail thinks it's painted for big $$$. I'm like "nope $300 worth of powder coat!".

Looking forward to seeing the bike with new paint! Post some pics of the new decals when you get them, mine is in dire need of new ones!

Don't worry Roy, I will keep the granite finish alive with my 89 Blizzard. ;)

While I wait to get my stuff back from Quy, here are a few of the bits for the build.

Lots of NOS stuff. I'll try out both cranks to see which looks best. Lots more goodies :D
