1987 Brodie Romax Barn Find / Restoration

I call geometry on head/seat tube angles, bb drop, wheelbase, cstays length, stack, reach... numbers that affect how the bike corners and how it deals w/ bumps, sudden acceleration: how the bike rides. A dropped top tube although visually striking mostly affects the ability to move your body around the bike. Brodie left the seat tube high showing where the top tube would be if placed parallel to ground: it would be the same "geometry". Another example is GT´s triple triangle: is it a different bike geometry? No; they just dropped the seatstays.
 
Thank you everyone for your replies. I have attached some better pictures with details. I will be repainting the frame to the original colour as well as the Bullseyes cranks, otherwise it was stay as found.

A couple more. Thank you again for everyones responses. I will update as much as possible. Also, the exact wording from Paul Brodie on the frame, "Hi Neil, serial number 181 is a 21" Romax sold to xxxxx xxxxxxxxxx on April 3rd 1987."

Okay, so now I have some questions...

What's going on with the paint beneath the black on the Syncros stem? Looks like some purple or blue peeking out? Was it once another color?

And that front brake? What's that setup all about? Obviously some after market tech, but curious to know if you or anyone else knows exactly what, as I'm not familiar.

Looks like it's been well used and abused, but such a lovely thing you have there, with some really unique/eclectic componentry!
 
The purple paint you can kinda of see. I'm not sure. My guess is that the crank arms were painted purple, so I'm not sure if the Syncros stem was also painted purple and them black over top. The front brake, I'd like for some seasoned Guru's on this forum to enlighten me on that as well. As previously mentioned. The bike was painted black and built up in @1991. It was never ridden, just around town on roads. It was then put in a crawlspace until last October. The original colour was Imron Lt blue continental metallic, which I will be putting it back to shortly.
 
Nice you got who bought it did you. It's an early one. Has the 6" seat tube extension.
Also like the internal cable routing in the top tube. A favorite detail of mine. Will be watching.
I'm kind of surprised at what version of gatorblade it has. I would have thought it would be
the one without `dimples' in tops of legs and steel dropouts.
Nothing to out of the ordinary with regards to the front brake. Has an odyssey straddle cable
is all.
 
The front canti bridge is an Odyssey Straddle Rod. The angle of the 2 rods has to change during braking. They are designed to slide, but can´t imagine they work after application of some dirt. Rods can also be adjusted lengthwise, but why?? This is a solution in search for a problem. I also remember to have read they´re prone to cracking.
IMHO best suited for a fully decked out CNC bling machine wall hanger.
 
Is that hockey tape on the chain stay? Classic Canadian suck guard. And that understay brake bridge is gold. I like it all a lot, with the exception of the crank. For some reason, it doesn't sit well with me, looks too bulky and blocky for that bike.
