600EX 6207/6208 is a great group set and perfect for your build. I have it on one of mine and it works brilliantly!

Did you go for the later 6208 brakes with black hoods or the 6207 with tan hoods. Think I am going with 6207's.

Wasn't going to bother changing my 105 hubs to 600 but don't think my ocd will let me away with it lol

The brake levers were the only items I didn't have so bought some 6207 with the tan hoods - either would have done, I just liked the look of the tan over the black. I know what you mean about the OCD, my hubs and pedals are still Shimano 600 but are 6400 and even that grates on me!

Well she's at the painters, should be back to bare metal this week. He also sent me a copy of his measurements taken from the frame.

Not a great deal to report my painter has been ill and you can't rush an artiest any way

Frame is now bare, we don't know what paint Raleigh used but it was a mission getting it this far.



And most of my 600ex stuff is here, will get some pics up later.

Small update, I now have my groupset together. Went for full 600ex 6207 & 6208. Used the 6208 levers and rear mech so I could have sis shifters.
Also got the water bottle and cage I wanted along with a saddle, still not sure I to go white or black thou.
Re-using a Cinelli stem I had and 66-42 bars.
