Ok asked this a few times and got nowt:

16 ti-fat-man Where do you get all your money from?

Cheers Lid

...fumbles around like best man looking for his speech notes...

1) Who are you?
ti-fat-man, mainly because ti-fat is always how i've abbreviated my fav frameset, and when i joined this forum picked the rhyme tag in a Jez stylee.
Normally... Alan, married with 10yr son. CSI with the Bedfordshire Police.
Crazy mad about LandRovers as well :D

2) When did you start mountainbiking?
if i can recall it was about '88 ish

3) What was your first mountainbike?
Peugeot 22" purple/green jobbie, quickly outed for a proper mtb, a Cannondale SM600 in black with green splatter.

4) What do you have in your pockets right now?
nowt now, did have a 9mm bullet round in my cargo trouser pocket yesterday mind.

5) What is your favourite mountain bike?
most people are going to expect me to say a Titanium Fat Chance, well it's actually a Grello Yo  , than the ti~fat. It's seems bizzare but it's easier to snag a titanium fat frame than a stock grello. Recently it's been 10th Anni's as my fav...then again i'm going Yeti crazy recently...help.

6) What's your most hated chore on the household chore list?
fetching the xmas decorations down from the loft, every 10 mths. yeah dozens of the boxes all colour coded says the missus...Markes finest last year, but new colours this year....takes her a month to plan 'the look', then buys a rake more, hate it.

7) What bike would buy if money was no object?
recently it was going to be a IF ti~deluxe, may be a Phil Woods PISS-OFF but now on the agenda is a Kent Ericksen hardtail. kinda set myself the agenda of rolling around the UK olympics course on a recee on that bike, tricked to the max

 Name one thing that not many people know about you?
when i hit my 'mid life' crunch  , i went to Brighton and had my left nipple piecred, also i scanned Callum Best's tattoo onto a disc and went to manchester and had David Beckhams famous tattoist Louis Malloy copy it onto my right shoulder.

9) What is your favorite bikepart?
Cooks Bros. RSR cranks and Grafton SC1 canti's

10) Which bike (brand) is overrated according to your own humble opinion?
Not then BITD...of course :D , but more recently i'll say Manitou. I couldn't go for a frame where there was a greater probabilty that it was going to split somewhere, i'm scared the big investment would be a nightmare if i discovered a crack, not to say i wouldn't want for one, but wouldn't shell big for one....it's a trait why i stick to ti, i reckon on the longevity i suppose.

11) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be be?
i'm content where i'm at at the moment...Bedford, in the future thou could be tempted to to join my dad out in spain (la marina)...best wait for the
euro to pick up though! there in 23 days time hoorah.

12) If you could go on a road trip with any person (dead or alive), who would you chose and where would you go?
Ok...love to be with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman on one of those
trips, either Long Way Down or Long Way Round. i've seen their support Nissan Patrols at many 4x4 shows that i attend, and it's a goal on my future agenda that i'm going to do something similar, might not be as grand as those guys, but would love to a 6 mths jaunt somewhere and back, so far i'm on my todd because my missus ain't interested, but that could be cool :D

13) What is your next bike going to be?
working on snagging a nice yeti in period colours, if that proves mighty hard, might go for the dream bike jobbie, just because :D and got one last build kit left and ready for that Grello of course.

14)Which bike(part) do you regret selling?
was a swop actually...a Fat Chance Monster together with original blue/silver BOI for a Pace RC200 F4 frameset. not to say i didn't like the pace, but that got traded for an Intense M1...blah/blah and now i want my BOI's back :(

15) Do you think that it is cruel that there is an 'S' in the word lisp?
i embrace all diversity........oh right i'm not at work now am i :D

16) ti-fat-man Where do you get all you money from?
yeah my boss loves me, i'm always the first to put my hand up for overtime ;)

Next up Nobby:
