1) Who are you ?
Jon, Dad or Pickle; depends whose asking
2) When did you start mountainbiking ?
Summer of 92.....I blame the MBUK Summer Special
3) What was your first mountainbike ?
Depends. First MTB type bike was a Raleigh Portage 12 speed. First MTB that got muddy off-road and raced was a Raleigh Team in Dyna Tech Team Raleigh colours.
4) What do you have in your pockets right now ?
Nowt!
5) What is your favorite mountainbike ?
Hmmm, tough one. I guess my heart says GT Zaskar LE, but if money was no object then a Merlin like Orange71 has pictured.
6) What's your most hated chore on the household chore list ?
Ironing :x Hate it with a passion.
7) What bike would you buy if money was no object ?
That Merlin
8 ) Name one thing that not many people know about you ?
I can play the cornet, trumpet and drums.
9) What is you favorite bikepart ?
Frame. You cant beat the feeling of buying a frame then getting all the bits to start a build
10) Which bike (brand) is overrated according to your own humble opinion ?
Syncros. At the end of the day, a stem is a stem in my opinion
11) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be ?
Australia.......I think. Ask me again once I have been there!
12) If you could go on a road trip with any person (dead or alive), who would you choose and where would you go ?
My wife, as she is also my best friend. Anywhere with her as she is great company, but I'd like to take her to see her Dad in Belize.
13) What is you next bike going to be ?
Dont know yet, we'll see, still looking......but I'd like to try a Dave Yates, any one of his.
14) Which bike(part) do you regret selling
Toss up between the Tempest and Trek. The Tempest although it was cheap and cheerfull, it rode supprisingly well, and the Trek because I never actually rode it off road.
15) Do you think it is cruel that there is an "S" in the word lisp?
Cruel, but genius
And the big Q from the big Cheese;
16) How many bikes do you actually need?
1, to keep the spirit alive......but in reality 1 full sus, 1 rigid, 1 hardtail........
Next up, Wu-Tangled. His Q, 'Where and when did you take your favourite pic?'
