did you ever try to fit star nut and move to more modern way of doing it? the slight slack is not noticeable on road sections but I know it is there... and it cant be good on anything vaguely rough (actually that includes some of the roads. shocking).

Tell us more... I went to the womens mtb day on 2012 with wife and kids. Awesome day. big crowds, like some big festival day. how much has it changed since the Olympics? Rock garden looked brutal on the day. saw at least two crashes during the 2 hour even.

what does super high spec mean on this forum? :) these were $750 in 94/95. that's seems a shed load of cash back then. but yes station bike. might be able to recycle the bits off the current BSO to fit on here. wheels , front and rear brake seemed ok. just need to sort fork first.
