Hi folks, I am doing up a early 80's Raleigh Record Sprint. The bike only came as a frame. I have tried to fit some 700c Mavic MA wheels 700c with QR hubs. The rear fits fine but the front won't go in as the fork crown won't accept it. Is there a fix for this and why does this occur? Any ideas...

Re: Hi all, quick update. Nearly there with the Ladies bike for 'Er Indoors'! Changed the colour scheme as the Salmon pink powder coat didn't look quite right so went for white with contrasting transfers. Just need inner tubes and cables cutting. Pleased with the overall result. Cheers Mark

Falcon Milk Race 1991. To celebrate Shane Suttons Milk Race win. The bike is totally standard and original even down to the tyres. Falcon seems to be the forgotten UK Brand but I'm trying to keep it alive!

Still on with the Shane Sutton, I hope to get it finished for May. I have bought another in the meantime so will post pics up tomorrow.

So today got cracking with the rebuild. Cleaned all the parts up so far with wire wool and polish. Bought this as a nice touch!!! That's it, that's as far as I've got tonight.
