Falcon Majorca - age unknown

Suffered a puncture on the way back from work so had to ditch the rear tyre for the replacement that came with bike

Theyve only got to last until my continental gatorskins arrive sometime this week

Also got round to fitting the Specialized Riva saddle. I think the black suits the bike better

Also took advantage of the sunny weather and gave the drivetrain a thorough degrease and a good lube. The results are far from perfect but substantially better than before

All thats really left to do is get some new black bar tape as the tape currently looks pooh. After that i just need to sort out the paint. Short-term I'm just gonna give the paint chips a little sanding and touch them in. Long term plan is to get the bike sand blasted and powder coated sometime around May.

My dad offered me a new project today as well. A 1986 BSA road racer. It's been in our family since new and has been garaged most of its life. Frame is in good nick but the paint has suffered a few scratches from accidents in the garage. Considering it's free to me I'm not gonna complain......i imagine the missus will do enough of that when it turns up in the shed. I'll get some pics next time i go round.

Thanks. Compared to some of the projects on here the bike hasn't needed an awful lot doing to it, just a good degrease, lube and a few adjustments but I'm happy with it and I'm all in to it for only £87 so it's a winner.

Just need to get the components and the frame nice and shiny now.
