    Thanks again for the info - an F7 would be ideal if/when I can find one, but in the meantime I have an old GT fork (1" threaded steerer 175mm crown-to-top) that will probably serve. My short-term plan is to get her rideable for general commuting and some weekend trails (New Forest, Swindley etc)...
