Thanks for the clarification on the sizing - 19" was what I was looking for, and despite a late bidding flurry I won out. Many years spent drooling after Oranges BITD...
I've just finished rebuilding a far-from-perfect KHS so this will become a fine new project. Can't wait to pick it up and get started on the search for bits!
They were superb frames and it looks in very good condition. I think it's a 96, as I don't think they had canti hangers in 97, although the DT decal looks 97ish.
The only thing I would be concerned about would be the Marzocchi fork. They're quite flexy and really the frame is perfectly suited to the F7 rigid.

RE forks, I've just been looking up manuals for the 'zokes. Will just have to see how good/bad/knacked they are. I have a Pace RC 35 MXCD that I'd consider swapping over to it - may have some issues with steerer tubes though (mine are a 1" aheadset)?
And then keep an eye out for some F7's, or Pace RC30's at a price that I can afford...!
The general plan is to get it rideable as soon as, and then to gradually upgrade to a spec worth of the frame.
Well an RC35 would suit it fine as well, I wouldn't dream of denying that - I think it just depends what you want to to do with it. I used mine for mainly commuting (tow path) and occasional off-road and the F7 was perfect. I don't think I've ever come across anybody who didn't love their C16-R. You actually enjoy going to work when you've got a C16-R to commute with. I don't know why it it's such fun to ride, but it just wants to go and makes you feel lively.
It has a 1" head tube and at present it has an LX threaded headset fitted, whereas the Marzocchi has an ahead steerer, so one of them has to go anyway. But even if you don't need the LX headset, it still has a value provided he sends you all the pieces. The head tube should be 120mm, so you need a threaded steerer of 150mm or more or an ahead steerer of 190mm or more.
Thanks again for the info - an F7 would be ideal if/when I can find one, but in the meantime I have an old GT fork (1" threaded steerer 175mm crown-to-top) that will probably serve. My short-term plan is to get her rideable for general commuting and some weekend trails (New Forest, Swindley etc) before gradually producing something more ogle-worthy and appropriate for more serious use.
Interestingly my (perhaps optimistic!) reading of the photos was that it was a threaded steerer with an aheadstem adaptor in it. Not so sure now though! I'm picking her up tomorrow, so will find out more then.
