    bunch of frames [ebay.co.uk]

Nice one indeed! I'm very sorry to let slip these kind of items when I had access to them, I also love to find a decent priced BSA chainwheel. BTW; did you ever see the rear-reflector, shaped like the ammo-belt in the BSA logo?

There really shouldn't be any problem, as long as the heat is applied evenly. Delicate heat-treated tubes like Reynolds 753 are silver-brazed at temperatures around 600-700°C That is around and about the temperatures needed for melting Aluminiun, depending on the alloy. Really, I don't...

Ordinary 'gasspipe' frames could bare the heat a lot better, I think  EDM can be used, It can be used with great precision to remove broken taps in for instance crankcases and some modernly equiped gunsmiths use it to remove stuck bullets from (precious) gunbarrels.

You cannot melt the aluminium without destroying the steel... The steel will warp and/or becomes brittle at the temperatures involved in melting alloys. EDM, 'Electronic Discharge Machining' is better, but an expensive option that uses a spark to burn/cut the metal away and can be...

    Delboys??....Klein Attitude on dutch marketplace....

Lately, Marktplaats warnes people to watch out for "British" sellers, as most of them seem to be Eastern European people trying to rip you off... They work more in the car section, but I think this one is suspect too? Most times they tell stories that the produkt is located in England, that...
