well, from what i remember my 1992 stumper had that steel "give," but was not particilarly whippy. it felt long and somewhat low - a sled, a good descender.

we don't see many oranges in canada, so i have never ridden one. visually, the bikes seem similar to an early-90s stumpjumper...do they ride similarly?

how much travel?

it became boring as the americans were surpassed. not to be anti-european, but americans are a naturally theatrical people - when successful at something, they find it second-nature to construct a character around that success. it is no coincidence that missy giove wasn't swiss.

always thought that aluminum - sorry, aluminium O was a bit weird looking - the rear end is heavy, with crude dropouts. the steel ones are pretty.

why do people hate gt so much? i always thought the triple triangle was sort of sleek-looking, and the 1990-92 paint jobs were creative.
