    X-ray for Carbon Bikes

My bad, bombing is the slang for radiography. Basically, when doing it on site, they set up an exclusion zone, set up the shot, then reveal the source etc to do the shot. They also have a workshop locally where they can do radiography. If your really interested, and dont mind paying the...

    X-ray for Carbon Bikes

Just spoke to the boss of a company called Oceaneering, who do all our NDT and radiography on the refinery where I work. They say that there is no reason why bombing carbon fibre shouldnt show any defects. We dont have a lot of carbon fibre on site, but we have carbon wrapped thin pipelines...

Had a itchy bit yesterday, thought Id been bitten by something, but this morning getting showered after riding to work I noticed my thighs were quite red. I assumed this was due to the cold of the ride, but now, 4hrs later there is a distinct rash on my thighs and abdomen. Its not blistered but...

    GT Lightning weight weenie progress

Just to add my tuppence worth, you wont get in most of the chaingangs in most of the big clubs without guards. Lets face it Marcus Scunthorpe Poly arent that big a club....... I use guards basically cos even if its not raining, the roads may be wet and getting a wet ass for 3-4 hrs is no fun...

    Optimal bike storage

Ive done just this in my garage, except with a piece of steel tube. Ive hung hooks from the tube and hang each bike by the front wheel off the hook. To save extra space, you can hang them front wheel then back wheel alternatley, this way you can squeeze more in since the handlebars dont clash. :)

Scunthorpe Area Ride - Sunday 22 February

So this will be the ride you were talking about on Saturday Marcus :) I'll probably be up for it, would be a bit rude not to ;) We used to have a good 3hr loop from Messingham which took in all the best spots in the area, all connected by a bit of road. You could possibly go from...

I have project as well, but P3 is far more flexible and its what all the projects on the Refinery use (although the license is reDICulously expensive, just pleased I dont have to pay for it ;)) As for having RB to read, Im pleased I found it but it does have an annoying habit of removing...
