that '94 Trek catalogues takes me down memory lane. I had a 2300 and 5200 road bike. Sold a few of those MTBs too. The FS was one of the worst bikes I've ever ridden - a trus pogo stick of a bike. I'm almost certain I agree with Amey' that naked carbon was the 95 model - maybe it was NOS in 98?

I had one of those exact frames in 94/5
1st one I had was a '92 ice green 9800, then got one of these 9900 pro issues in '94 which cracked at the bb shell and was swapped under warranty in '96 or 7 for the blue/white VW pro issue. (which i still ride today)

95 fo sho!

I had two of them in 1995 - and won the sport Scottish champs on the second.

Rear brake boss snapped off the first and the bottom bracket cracked out of the second - To quote Trek UK... "Perhaps these are not the bike for you".

One of the best hardtails I have ever ridden though... I would love to hang one of my old frames up for the memories but I would not dare ride one since I would need to buy three or four a year to cover breakages :roll: :roll: :roll:

Note - no mention of price, only memories :p

a Radio Yerevan listener asks:

Q: Is it true that Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov from Moscow won a car in a lottery?
A: In principle yes, but:

1. it wasn't Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov but Aleksander Aleksandrovich Aleksandrov;
2. he is not from Moscow but from Odessa;
3. it was not a car but a bicycle;
4. he didn't win it, but it was taken from him.
