Campagnolo MTB - Anyone have much experience?

I use a Campagnolo Euclid/Centaur Mtb regularly and I have to say it works great. Solid components and beautiful too.

Anyone ever built their own frame?

Not a Mtb, but I've built this one for my wife. It's a fillet brazed mixte in pregnant set up( sky high handlebar!). With a young daughter it's been hard to find the time but I would like to do a road bike at some point.

Anyone ever built their own frame?

A friend of mine did the powdercoat. It looked ok at first but it needs to be redone now. I will probably get a proper wet coat from Toxik Harald here in Vancouver. My advise is don't cheap out on the paint job.

Anyone ever built their own frame?

Thanks, I tried to use as much Italian components I could. Most parts are Italian except for the tires, tubes, fork crown, bars and spokes. Rims are Campagnolo Zark and the tubing is a mix of Columbus and Dedacciai.

Anyone ever built their own frame?

Do it! I built this retro style frame a few years back at Ubi in Ashland, Oregon. It's a great feeling to ride your own bike. The bars are Ritchey's.

    Crown race - help!

You could get someone with a lathe to turn down the crown race? Unfortunately it would probably cost you more than the fork from a machine shop, unless you know somebody. Easy job.

I know, I was a bit reluctant to let it go, but I couldn't justify keeping it either. I made sure it went to a good home. :D
