Insulation tape suits any period....... No,,,, i have had a couple of 70's frames with the chrome effect jobbie, i've also seen quite a few leather one's ....

Wether to respray is up to you, but get it rebuilt and get the pics on here...

I know this is a old post, but a friend of mine has being offered a Carlton. He has'nt seen it yet, and the chap who is selling it does'nt know the model, i've told him to look for the reynolds 531 sticker, and adviced him on better components. What is the Carlton hierarchy, number 1, model...
