    Trek 5000 1996

I have to admit I know very little about road bikes, but this caught my eye. I was looking at getting a flat bar road bike to make my commutes to work a bit quicker. I have emailed the seller about the size. I ride a 19 – 20 inch MTB so what size road frame would I be looking at? The bike is...

Got some Titanium? Riser bar or Morati M-Bar wanted!

I have had a set of White Brothers risers for about 15 years with no problems. Watch US eBay and they come up occasionally. Someone was selling unbranded Ti risers that looked exactly like the WB ones.

    80’s Mielle ?

I've never heard of this brand brfore. It seems a good buy and in excellent condition. Could make for a bargain retro daily rider! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VINTAGE-MOUN ... 370wt_1187

    Bullseye hubs

They use a 3/16 bolt. The advantage of bolting them on rather than using a QR is that the noticeably stiffen up flexy forks (I used them with Marchocci XC 400s, 600s and DH3s). The fronts had 2 different styles, with the later having lager diameter flanges and were marketed as suspension hubs...

    1996 Norco Team Issue

Any info on these? I always thought they were made from 853, but the description says Ritchey Super Tubing Either way it seems a good price for a quality steel frame. I’ve enquired about postage, so this might kill a good deal. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/200741816988 ... 142wt_1548

A no holds barred 'why I dont like' thread.

People getting cogs and sprockets mixed up. Bikes like Cunningham’s and Steve Potts, they are just old boring frames that are over-hyped, they hold as much interest as an unpainted Giant frame except a Giant would ride better. Klunkers - you can roll a turd in glitter but it is...

White Brothers disc adaptor (for SC90)

I just received this email from Eric Prinster (Technical Service - Mountain Racing Products). "Sorry, we do not have the brake adapter for that fork any more. I am un sure if any one will still have any". Bugger

White Brothers disc adaptor (for SC90)

Thanks for that, I just emailed WB, so we'll see what they say. Maybe I should just get a set of red AT4s or Kilo forks? If I was going to the trouble of getting another fork I would love a Risse Roxxxy’s. But they seem to be another unicorn just like this disc adaptors.

White Brothers disc adaptor (for SC90)

A bit of a grave dig - can anyone throw me a life line? I am planning on doing a big swap over of parts and frames, and part of the plan is to run discs on the WBs.
