    Swap Meet Sept. 2024

I so wish to make one of these in the near future. but these mountains between us make it so difficult. I'd be looking for a 90's Flite worthy of a recover. and orphan Holey skewers to reunite with the ones I have (purple, gold, and black) just saying.

Is there a non destructive way to remove 3 piece crank without a puller?

To take this topic a little further- the old adage of "I can't afford to buy cheap tools" applies to an extent. the amount of damage cheap tools have cause exceed the extra few dollars to buy decent.

    Unknown Pinarello frame set?

Butler, you should post more pictures of the frame when you have a second (just not from Steve's potato phone). specifically the drop outs, and better pictures of the frame over all showing all the little details? Three things stand out with this Frame now, someone has to recognize this...

    Unknown Pinarello frame set?

What gets me with this frame is that seat tube, it's so distinct someone must recognize it. it looks like its two bonded tubes, with the top one tapering down. Does anyone recognize that?

Yup that’s about it, that scenery is about 30 mins to my west. For the money, best place to live in Canada. Oh also happy Canada Day.

BoTM Bike of The Month June 2024 - now taking entries

Thanks Raiden, I’m in Southern Alberta Canada- it’s where the Rocky Mountains meet the Prairies, about an hour north of the US boarder. It’s super green here this year, but we’re actually a semi arid desert. Scorpions and rattle snakes oh my!

GT Psyclone 1994 16 inch - very slow build

My thoughts- since you asked. Those forks belong on the RST1. I also prefer my higher quality steal frames to be rigid. I like to feel the difference in compliance and ride. Plus I believe black will help showcase th frame vs. Silver I think would take the attention away.

    1994 Kona range!

a picture of the bike would help a lot- just to confirm it's a 94 frame.

    1994 Kona range!

I thought so too, but the 95 should have a square bolt, not a tapered. and I don't think 95's came with any noodles, they were using "Boners" by 94 if I remember correctly.

    1994 Kona range!

94 should be silver stem and fork no? Those look like the 93 gold to me.

    Neurodivergence in Cycling

This is funny- I choose to not be medicated for lots of reasons, but I tell people it’s because I don’t want to know what it’s like to be them, I’d rather they take a pill to be able to see what it’s like to be me. They can have my brain for 12 hours. I think that would be much more fun. I call...

    Neurodivergence in Cycling

I'm both ADHD with a touch of the 'tism. Looking forward to reading this, I've noticed a theme between "bike people" and neurodivergance.
