True commitment to the project is going to be some gravel rash. You have put this much effort in to this you now have to bin it on a right hander to get that genuine look to the mech, pedal, grip and the end of the brake lever. That or just get a rasp file and do your best over a cup of coffee.

Modern toothpaste tubes . Cut the ends off and split down the middle. This makes a flexible strong sheet that can be used inside a split tyre to stop the tube coming out. Can be used at a decent pressure, too. Plastic money notes may also work, but haven't tried them.

This is quite possibly the best build on LFGSS.

I think it needs odd rims. A cheapo aluminium deep aero rim maybe?. Definitely needs a sticker of some sort.
